It all began with the need to send out prayer requests. I was posting on my son's site the prayer requests that were coming to me and his needs. I kept pondering in my heart and praying about what I could do to start a group for those prayer requests. I researched a lot of other great organizations that offered gifts and required a lot of funding. I didn't want that, I wanted something free! When you have a sick child, the last thing you need is more put on you financially. Prayer is free.

I was in an egroup for Fanconi Anemia and that is when I realized that I could send out one prayer request and it would go to every member in that group. I didn't have to put all of those addresses into the email, just one! Time saver! Then, I needed to think up of a name so I began praying about it. My son's nickname is Papa Bear and our group would be about praying, thus the "Prayer Bears" came to me and I knew it was a winner. I remember thanking God for that inspiration! I was all excited but I was the only one! I began the group and begin inviting all my friends that I knew were great prayer warriors.

I remember wanting at least one member from every church to be a part of our group! We are far from that but one of these days....who knows our potential. "Little is much with God in it", the main thought of a sermon from long ago given by our Pastor at the time, Bro. Bertsy Stanley. A man of inspiration and a great dedication to God. We now have lots of wonderful prayer warriors from all over the world!

I kept dreaming of the website we would have one of these days, and began writing down ideas! Now, we have a website thanks to Joann and Susan! With God, all things are possible!
